Marked;Life started as an idea between the two members Sam and Caleb in 2017 as a different side project, working with a previous producer that Sam Laponis had worked with many times years ago (Daniel Concho), he enjoyed the idea and became the writer for the drums. Slowly the small idea grew into a full band when traction and interest in the style began to show.
